The Palm City Chamber of Commerce is pleased
to announce the 2009/2010 Adopt-A-Class campaign has begun. We are
looking forward to once again spearheading the most successful program
for academic enhancement in Martin County. With the support of sponsors,
parents and area businesses, the students and teachers in Palm City and
Martin County schools have benefited from contributions totaling more
then $700,000.00 over the last 15 years.
The Palm City Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Lively
Orthodontics as a corporate sponsor of the Adopt-A-Class program. “The
program continues to grow and grow,” stated Jamie Chapogas of Edward
Jones and chairperson of the Palm City Chamber of Commerce Adopt-A-Class
program. “Seacoast National Bank and the Kiwanis Club of Stuart
Foundation, our founding sponsors, will continue to support the program
together with the Martin County Community Foundation, and the Huntington
Learning Center. These organizations have been champions in assisting
the Palm City Chamber’s goal to enhance local education. The Chamber
wants to ensure the best possible education is available to them,” said
Chapogas.
While we do not set a monetary goal, our goal is simply to enhance the
quality of all of our children’s education by achieving 100%
sponsorship. We encourage you to be involved and make a difference in
our community, and in the lives of our children. A $200.00 contribution
is worth volumes to a teacher – volumes of books, programs and so much
more! Together with traditional classrooms, the Education Committee
would like to strongly encourage all donors to consider sponsoring other
programs that would benefit the child. For example, related arts, such
as music, art, PE, media and computer classes play an important role in
a child’s education. As a donor, you would be able to ensure all
academic classes receive equal opportunity to provide the best possible
experience for the children. Join us in reaching our goal- that every
classroom in Martin County is adopted.
We encourage you to become a partner in education with us and make a
difference in our children’s lives. Keep in mind they are our future
community and business leaders. Join us in reaching our goal. Please
fill out the
adoption form and forward it to the Chamber
together with your contribution today. For more information on the
