Dear Sponsor,
 The 2010-2011 Adopt-A-Class campaign has begun.
Administered by the Palm City Chamber of Commerce Education Committee,
ADOPT-A-CLASS is the premier program for academic enrichment in Martin
County. Over the last 18 years, students and teachers in Palm City and
Martin County area schools have benefited from contributions totaling
more than $908,400.00. Your donation of $200.00 will enrich the
classroom with dollars that our school district cannot provide. On
average, our nation’s teachers each spend about $500.00 out of their own
pockets every year.
ADOPT-A-CLASS provides essential dollars for
education. Teachers will use your
contribution to purchase classroom resources such as classroom
libraries, learning games, and manipulatives that help them create an
engaging and effective classroom. With funding from
ADOPT-A-CLASS, many will develop special projects and exciting hands-on
learning experiences that they would otherwise sacrifice. Your $200.00
contribution is priceless!
Critical challenges are facing our schools
in these hard economic times, and last year, not one of our area schools
was 100% adopted. This year, we need your support so that there is No
Student Left Behind. Classroom teachers, related arts teachers, and
all exceptional needs classrooms are eligible for adoption. The
classroom you select will be your adoptee and your teacher will proudly
post your sponsorship certificate in your adoptee’s classroom. All
contributions will then be pooled and distributed to benefit ALL
students at the school you select. Even classrooms that are not
specifically adopted will receive the benefit of your generosity!
