Please send in a
CLE Note with your child upon
return to school after an absence. If you do not use the
CLE Note - it is important to
include the child's full name and teacher. If your child is absent more
than 2 days in a row please include a doctor's note. VACATION is
not an excused absence.
Martin Co. School System has an
Automated Attendance Message Program to inform parents of their
child's daily attendance. Please contact the school if corrections
need to be made.
Please be aware that the
Compulsory School Attendance Laws for the state of Florida require
the school to contact parents for any student missing 10% or more school
instruction days.
Letters will be sent home to keep
parents informed of their students' total absences. Please arrange
for a conference if you receive a letter.
Regular attendance is extremely
important for each child to receive the maximum benefits from daily
instruction. While we do not want students to attend school when they
are ill, we do want them to attend school as regularly as possible. In
our efforts to do the utmost for all of our students, we ask you help in
this matter.
