Mr. Scholl, has a Masters and Specialist Degree in counseling children and adolescents from the University of Florida, holds accreditation from the National Board for Certified Counselors, and is currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with the state of Florida while pursuing his License to be a Mental Health Counselor.

Mr. Scholl, aside from the ongoing programs (developmental guidance program) offers to all children and families of CLE:

  • Individual counseling or small group counseling (as needed/requested) for students who are experiencing crisis and/or conflict, difficulties socially/emotionally, or who need support navigating through life's experiences. Past groups included but were not limited to:  Social Skills, Anger Management, Study Skills, Becoming more Responsible, and How to deal with bullies, nags, and pests.
  • Bereavement is provided by Hospice for students who are/have experienced death or dying.
  • High Hopes Program provided by Castle for children who are experiencing divorce or separation.

I facilitate referrals for children to an outside agency or another mental health practitioner when appropriate.  Consult with parents to shape behaviors (increase the desirable behaviors and decrease the undesirable behaviors), enhance parenting skills, and facilitate positive change in their children.
