Kindergarten Requirements
2009/2010

We always look forward to welcoming our newest
CLE students! The first day of school is so exciting for the
children and their parents. On this page you will find our policy on
First Day Procedures and School Requirements for Kindergarten.
If you have any other questions, please contact the school office.
First Day Procedures
Parents may NOT walk their child
to class, even on the first day of school. On the first day of school,
all students will be directed or escorted to the cafeteria or covered play
area by 5th grade Safety Patrol students, teacher’s aides and
parent volunteers. If you register a child later in the school year, the
same will apply.
At Kindergarten Orientation,
prior to the start of school, you will receive a name tag for your child
with the Student name and their Teachers name. As a courtesy, the
PTA hosts a "new parent gathering" in the volunteer room to meet other new
parents and share in the experience of the first day of school. The
volunteer room is located near the front office.
