Crystal Lake Elementary would like to thank Kate Wood, a local artist from the Martin County Arts Council’s Artist in Residence program.  Ms. Wood created a mural that shows examples of the 6 pillars of Character of the Character Counts program of Martin County.  Our fifth grade students helped Ms. Wood paint the mural, and were delighted to see the finished work.  The teachers at Crystal Lake Elementary will be able to use the mural as a lesson for teaching students about character. 

The Artist in Residence program is sponsored by the Martin County Arts Council, Women Supporting the Arts, Hobe Sound Community Chest, and the Martin County School District.
